mrseebro 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2015 Hello to everyone here on the forum, it's been very informative reading here and on other forums about any thing and every thing. I thought i knew it all until these forums come along, and boy was i wrong , i've learnt alot and now know there is still alot to learn.. There is actuall people out there that know their stuff and feel right at home, sharing their wisdom and helping others so they can be knowlegdeable also. i'm looking forward to passing on my limited knowledge and learning from all of you. A little about myself, i'm 57, retired autoworker, with a long honey-do list that never seems to go away. The wife and i are into camping and travelling with our fifth wheel, looking forward to a trip out east coast hopefully in 2016. We purchased a Napoleon Legend 485 RSIB bbq from our local Canadian Tire store at the end of summer 2013, and are sure enjoying having a good quality product that seems so far to exceed my expectations. It has the infrared side grill zone and infrared rotisserie burner, and must say those fat new york steaks from Costco sure come off that grill with mouth-watering results. vanole 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2015 Welcome to the forum. Looks like we have a bit more in common than grilling. We also like to travel and have an RV. I do the typical run south in the winter to S Florida. During the summer we do a bit of local stuff with the S*M*A*R*T (retired military travel club) and then at least 4 out of state runs in the summer with one always up to Western Pa we really like that area it has so much to do and see. You have a nice grill there. I'm sure it will bring you years of enjoyment. Jeff
richlife 0 Report post Posted May 7, 2015 Another welcome mrseebro. Glad to hear you are liking that grill (and the steaks ). It's one of the few others I would consider -- but of course, I have no need for a new grill... We are retired and make at least one good trip a year in the US. Now plan to spend more time in FL as the cold just sucks! Jeff Vanole is one of my go-to people for all things grilling, Florida, and anything else he knows about. Senecalady 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2015 Hello to everyone on the forum. this is my first post and after reading other post's I look forward to learning and sharing my exploits in the grilling world. My husband and I purchased a Char-Broil Big Easy Tru smoker, roaster and grill for Fathers day. We have been testing our taste buds with different seasonings and rubs as well as different smoke chips. If you have any tips for us, please let me know or direct us to the correct area. I look forward to future conversations. Thanks, Nancy
