  1. Looks like it is a lost cause if that is welded in. You might want to try and find one on Craigslist and see if you can turn 2 into 1. Otherwise, I think it is time for a new grill.
  2. I bought a Ravenna Gas grill cover from Amazon last year and it is still in good shape. It is a heavy duty canvas one. Post a picture when you are done!
  3. Take a look at Coyote grills ceramic trays. I think bbqguys sells them. Give them a call, they may know if they fit. I think that Coyote grills were started by a group of guys that left Bull Angus. I agree with you, I really like ceramic briquettes on a gas grill. You may also find them on Amazon. You might be able to get the dimensions.
  4. I know when I was looking for parts, there are places like grillparts.com and grill-parts.com. I was rebuilding a grill for my son and started looking at amazon. The prices were much less, and since I had prime, the shipping was free. Long story short, if you are trying to decide whether it is worth it or not, check amazon for part prices, they blow everyone elst out of the park. Many are chinese parts, but so are the oem parts. One last option is to look at craigslist for an older weber. Well made, and the parts are inexpensive on amazon from non oem manufacturers. You would end up with a better grill at a lower price than the new Weber grills.
  5. I bought one of the smoker tubes and a cheap torch. It does work well. mine last about 4 hrs. I find if I use a mesquite pellet, I can better taste the smoke on the food.
  6. and if you keep the side shelves, you may be able to keep a side burner
  7. I see no issue with taking off the shelves (wings). You will be ventilated to the back, Are their vents on the sides? It would not look much different than this: https://www.bbqguys.com/bbq-grills-smokers/gas-grills?ff2=1999&ff5=326 You need to make sure you build it with steel studs and keep combustible materials away from the sides. you may want a small air gap on each side for ventilation.
  8. I agree with the Broil King reccomendation. HIgh quality and long lasting.
  9. I bought one of those tubes and filled it with pellets. Lit it with a small torch. It lasted over 4 hours. Was great not having to contiually add chips.
  10. I found them here: https://www.grill-parts.com/nexgrill/models/nexgrill-720-0432.htm
  11. Try here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/BBQ-Tools-Accessories/20725/m.html?Category=20725&_saslop=1&_ssn=rcplanebuyer&_nkw=&sellerName=rcplanebuyer&_pgn=2&_skc=50&rt=nc This guy might also make some up special for you.(especially if you want flame tamers) I would also check here: www.grillparts.com They have Nexgrill parts. You may have to measure your grates to get the right ones
  13. You could try grillparts.com or grill-parts.com, two sites with a lot of parts. Many grills have multiple sparking points. One at each burner in some cases, including one at the back rotis burner. You may be hearing one of them, and the others are not working. I would try to sand the electrode of each one, and adjust it if possible to have it about 1/8th inch from either the burner tube or sparking box (that collects gas). If you wait to just before dark, and take out the grates and flame tamers, you should see the sparks from the igniter if it/they work. btw, sanding or filing the rust off the electrode is something many manufacturers suggest as a first pass to fixing the problem. I would also look at the ceramic around the electrode to make sure it is not cracked or missing. Let us know what you do to repair it.
  14. There are 3 carryover tubes here http://www.grillparts.com/sears/kenmore.asp maybe one will fit.
  15. The best prices for parts are on amazon. do a search on jenn air parts. you want to measure and make sure it is the same part. These are aftermarket, but they will work. Are your burners cast iron or stainless. Check the model number is it 750-0165 or 720-0165? see this : https://smile.amazon.com/BBQ-funland-SH1231-Stainless-Jenn-air/dp/B013NO4Z0K/ref=sr_1_8?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1493251809&sr=1-8&keywords=Jenn-Air+grill+parts and this: https://smile.amazon.com/BBQ-funland-CB6301-Replacement-Charbroil/dp/B01J7LFDOA/ref=sr_1_26?s=lawn-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1493251923&sr=1-26&keywords=Jenn-Air+grill+parts You may have to replace 3 burners and keep the best old one to use the second item. You could also search further in amazon to find just one burner. I just checked these out quickly
