You call that a "good" burger? Sorry - I hate to disappoint you, but I for sure don't consider that a good burger.

I consider it an AWESOME burger!!! But with one caveat - when I tried to eat it, though it looks absolutely delicious and tantalizing - all I could taste was a chalky, LCD pixelated screeney taste.

Nice job, Vindii! Is that cheese Mozzarella? Swiss (my best guess)? Cheddar? Whatever - you've got my vote! :)

:D :D :D

Mikeys coffee kicked in :) , Looks fantastic Dave!! (I think I'll call you Vindii from now on).

My guess is American cheese with a possible very thin slice of provolone/swiss as an underlayment.
It must be naked for the photo op, I don't see any exposed lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle or (optional) Bacon, The lack of 1000 Island dressing oozing out has me concerned also :D

You do get extra credit for toasting the bun B)

American cheese, mayo, ketchup, dijon. No veg in the house (shopping today). And I take all comparisons with Vindii as high praise!

I'm a bit addicted to food photography. Though I almost never bust out the DSLR. I like my food really hot so it's always quick and dirty with the iPhone. Just gotta get close and show texture. I love looking through my week of meals and seeing what turned out the best.

Me too Dave. I leave the good camera in the kitchen though. No DSLR but it beats my phone. I have more pics of food than my kids. :o

Its fun to page through them all.

Food shots run a close second around here, but my little girl definitely takes the cake:

She's adorable Dave, you can see in the photos as she ages, she's learning to tolerate your cooking

Get yourself a nice shotgun cause when she's 15 you're gonna need it. B)

This is going to sound really bad but I took tons of pics of my kid when they were that age. As they grow I take less and less.

Dave - your little girl is beautiful! She's gonna break a lot of hearts when she gets older! ;) Thanks for sharing - I wish I had taken more pix of my Jodi when she was so tiny! Most of my pix are actually slides of her as she got older. You are probably too young to remember the cost of developing photos back in the day... Today everyone gets a break with the digital age of cameras!

Loved the video - mikey :)
