Congrats on the new format, board looks great and hopefully this will help with the idot spammers. Boy, they went hog-wild there at the end! Anything to get better Google rankings I guess...
Any chance the contents of the original forum will be made available - I'd hate all that great information to be lost. Wonder how it might be incorporated into the new forum... Oh well, just a thought. Congrats Don and look forward to more great discussions here! |

I plan on keeping the content on the old board for a while. I may come up with a way to put a link from this forum to the old content. Bear in mind the old board still has a lot of junk buried in it, if you don't mind seeing cialis a thousand times!

Excellent Board!! Thanks for all of your hard work. There is a lot of good info on the old board, but it is also difficult to dig out. This new forum will really make all the great info available easier to find.
Now, we just have to get some of the ole pros to re-post that vast knowledge they have shared over on the old board. |

I like the new format and I was wondering if you could set up a few new sections IE: one for each grill type ( weber, brinkman , vermont casting etc)
That way we could take the more relevant post from the old site and place them here. I would be glad to repost all of my old post if I could do it by grill type . That is unless you want me to just repost them in the general section. I am just trying to cut down on how much work you have to do to merge the forums. Great Job though. This is my first reply and I am confused and need advice. I currently own a Green Egg "medium" and LOVE it. Bgt approx 6 yrs ago. My problem is that as I live in a condo our insurance policy doesn't allow charcoal grills "although I believe this grill is very safe as compared to other grills"
I probably do more smokong type cooking ie dousing coals w? hickory chips and cooking at approx 300 degrees versus high temp grilling.. Salmon, Trout ect is Fantastic. I have read all the comments on various grills including Jenn Aire and various modifications to improve/add smoking modifications. I AM AMAZED THAT THE MANUFACTURERS ARE IGNORING THIS FEATURE AND AFTER PAYING HIGH DOLLARS FOR A GRILL HAVE TO MODIFY THEIR GRILL TO ACHIEVE SMOKING ABILITY. I would welcome suggestions/reccomendations in my search for a new grill. Or should I wait untill a manufacturer get's smart and comes out with a new model?? Any suggestions would be appreciated Sparky |

You have brought up an excellent point with the insurance policy. So much so I started a new topic area just for your question. You can get there by clicking this LINK. Thanks for asking here!
