Stumbled on this on AOL. Pretty basic, but had some nuggets in there - like adding a shallow pan of sea salt during a smoke to make smoked salt! The stuffed hot dogs looked pretty good too.

Very good reading! I just went through a few dozen, then bookmarked it for later reading (during the Yankee game commercials tonight).

What exactly do you use smoked salt for? Same as usual, but imparting a "smoked" taste to the food? I recall a thread on this a few weeks ago, skimmed it and never got back to it.
