I feel special being the only one to see your comments regarding some of the foremost members of these forums. I'm sure Rich, Yooper, James, Underthehood, Vindii, Shelly, Cuskit, Improv and all the others would have been touched by your chosen words for each of them. You put so much time into it in the wee hours of the morning, it's a shame they can't see it. You do have to admit though, it was kind of cowardly to remove your post after my reaction to it. I would love for you to make it public again so we can ponder your expertise in the field of human behavior.

Hopefully Don or another administrator saw it and threw it out and they'd do the same to this response if it's deemed necessary.

Enjoy your weekend,

I'll remove this post as well. Just say how inconsiderate you were to the people who just want to elaborate on the joys they get in the world of BBQing. You were kind of harsh and all of those comments were just uncalled for.

I saw them too. I copied the one that Jim copied.

He also post in Mikeys thread about his Dad passing. Pretty shitty stuff to say especially about someone father passing.

Is there a reason he's not banned? Not that he cares but so he doesnt post that crap anymore.

Vindii, don had a thread up this morning saying he suspended him for 90 days, you should see the PM he sent me on the way out.

My problem with him is he's over at http://slickdeals.net/forums/ telling everyone with a Weber they are fools. morons, idiots for making their purchase, telling folks to shut up for he has spoken, then he's over here telling us he has a weber, and sticking to his claim he's not that guy to save face, so my curiosity has been which is it, so I take it by his explosion here I got my answer :)

You told him it's a small world, I let it die, but look at the screen shots below ;)

He got me too. I did not copy it. It was so vile I just chalked it up to the source it came from. Why just suspend him? Common, ban him and his IP address. I am sure wherever he lands they'll see through his BS.

I took that action as a defensive measure, on short notice! He can't post, only see your replies to his insanity! In all our years running this forum I've never seen such an outburst.

Here is a short snippet from what was left in my personal email box. I am sure others received similar (not so kind) messages. Always seemed a "little off" to me so I pretty much ignored him. So this was kind of out of the blue to me.

You have the IQ of a domestic pet.

You have little to enjoy in your miserable life and have chosen to cling to a Weber grill.

Does that bring you true happiness? If it does, consider that.

My PM from him is a pinch to vulgar to post in this general section and is a little more colorful than his remarks to you, but I see he is here with us in spirit anyway ;)

I'd say he is well gone. When he posted a couple of comments in my thread on my Dad's passing (actually - they were directed to the passing of Jim's Dad) I knew he had gone over the top. I thought at first he was upset over the predominant Weber posts here in the forums - but it seems he's been at odds with many members here. Moderation has taken care of all of this, so I think it's best that we don't post anymore screenshots - kind of negates the reason for deleting his posts in the first place.. ;)

Time to move on - this kind of behavior portrayed by Triangle is just not tolerated here. For the life of me I cannot fathom what happened to provoke him into posting such vile and disgusting comments, but he's gone now.

So, we have some wonderful weather, at least here on the Jersey Shore - time to really kick bbq'ing into high gear. What say we concentrate on the lighter side of our grilling world? For me - this weekend is about going out and (locally) trying to find some decent replacements for my dismal burners. I saw some really nice cast iron universal burners the other day at my local plumbing supply (they feature MHP grills) and I'm hoping they will fit my grill. 19" long, and more narrow like the tube ss sheetmetal type, but of a cast nature. I've got a pile of ribs, wings and drumsticks I'm dying to try out on some "comped" sauce (for review) and I need to upgrade the burners on my grill. Down from 4 mains to just one working, at that's splitting up the middle. I don't understand - my originals, though only lasting a few years were far superior to the garbage the warranty department sent me. Those replacements only last a couple of months! Sigh..

So, I'll get back on how I make out, meanwhile, I might be pulling my old Weber kettle out of mothballs!

Thanks to all you guys who have tolerated some of the nasty content here recently, we apologize and hope to see much more positive postings as we move on. :)

Got some nice baby backs going today on the Summit. Nothing fancy. A little Maple Herb rub my sister gets me, some hickory smoke, will foil them after about an hour and half or so let the go in foil for about another 90 minutes and finish them off with a little doctored up Sweet Baby Rays. (BTW IMO one of the better bottles of sauce when I don't feel like cooking my own) ;) Just want to enjoy a Saturday to myself and a good old friend (Dewars) ;) BTW no apologies necessary on my account. I let that stuff roll off. I get worse at the airport. Passengers make what happened here look like child's play

Thanks Mike,
Sorry to hear your still fussing with your burner dilemma, hope the universals work for you, since Im sure you are missing grilling, I would hate to see you have to scrap that monster since the chassis is so stellar, I still think if you are going to keep it you should ask a machinist how much to make you a set that will last, I don't see it being more than 100 bucks, maybe you can trade services. a couple months for a burner? are they making them from beer cans these days :D

Hey nothin wrong with a kettle ;) I have a little 16" kettle (not weber obviously) that was like 15 bucks years ago at the market, we took it to the lake easter sunday and had some fantastic burgers and the kids made schmores, good ol coal gets it done every time!

I don't want you guys to feel special! He sent me a pm as well. What it said isn't worth repeating, so good riddance.
Today, we continued the seemingly never ending 4th birthday party for my son. Burgers and dogs on the Ducane with baked beans and cole slaw. Almost forgot the giant fruit salad!
As everything go eaten so quickly, regrettably, there are no pictures!Posted Image

Busy working (not saving lives) and training for the Tower of Terror 10 mile run, the Disney Wine and Dine 1/2 marathon, and the Disney Marathon in January, plus, working on the blogs.
Yes, at four he is a real joy. This was the fourth birthday party he has had this week! Plus a day in Disney as part of his present.
I'll have to get an updated review of the D 4400. As for the Weber Q 200, that grill just keeps on ticking!
What about you?
