petesque, that is what happens when craftsmanship crosses art. Great job..... don't you love that feeling you get when you accomplish something like that.....

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you spent on the project? I'm starting my outdoor "something" in the spring.

Is that the flue to the smoker running across and up in the round pit?

About 3K. 750 bucks went to my friends and doesn't include beer and food.

Their is a 10" flu from the fire pit to the chimney. I build a small fire their and this creates a draft into the chimney where I hang the meat.
