does anyone know how to fix or repair the thermocouple on the infrared burner of a rotisserie? We have a DCS 30" grill. The rotisserie burner has always been finicky, but this season it won't stay lit at all. It lights just fine if I hold the start button, but no matter how long I hold it, or how hot the burner gets, it shuts off as soon as I let go.

I have the same problem on a 36" model. I got to use the bloody rotisserie thing 1 time, now it no workie.

I hate to swap out parts if is not going to fix it. Several appliance repair places sell a generic thermocouple.

Mine seems to be a bit finicky but after a couple attempts it seems to work. How long are you holding it. Key is to get that sensor hot enough that it knows it is lit. Could be a faulty sensor but if grill is new...not sure

Good luck

Hmmmm, thought I already answered this, but it's not showing up. I am holding it for several minutes. End of the probe is cherry red by then, but still no go. First time I used it, I only had to hold for 10-15 seconds. Now several minutes, and it still doesn't work. I'd like to fix it, but I don't want to spend money I don't have to.
