Unfortunate news: after getting really excited for the pizza burgers posted in this thread I gave them a try a few days back. Me and the wife both ate them but agreed that they were just not that great (to us). It was so strange tasting pepperoni and pepper along with ground beef.
I can see children perhaps loving these if you hype them up for a special pizza burger since the flavor isn't bad - it's just not a combination we enjoyed much at all. It's a real shame too because I was really excited for them!

I'm having no luck at all besting my plain-jane burgers: Lean (or medium) ground beef, enough worchestershire, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder to cover the top of the beef in a very thin layer, mix, form, and cook on direct medium for 9 or 10 minutes, turning once.
Sigh, despite all the love I get for the burgers I currently make, the hunt for something I can call a "signature" burger continues...
