Ok the only 55 gallon drums I've been able to come across are the type with the sealed lids, not the removable ones... Apparently they're kinda hard to find and most of them have grease in them and the grease companies want them back when they're empty...thats what I was told at 2 different quick lube places. Soo........ How do I remove the lid on a sealed drum and still keep it pretty air tight so the only air in is the inlet, and air out the outlets???

You will need a side grinder. Put a thin grinding wheel on it. Carefully go around the outside edge.

OR

Go somewhere else to get a drum. Check the Yellow Pages, craigslist, etc.
